Flying hotels, Dog-faced alien mercenaries. Luc Besson's camp salute to science fiction is a crisp and colourful CGI festival, bursting at the seams with pastiche, gritty violence and Tricky's hyper-real big screen Bristolian presence.
No one in hollywood laughed because the sophisticated european humour was camouflaged by the sheer intensity of money being splashed all over those multiplex 12x5 metre screens.
