The Cube Microplex is a major new cultural project for the 21st Century in the heart of Bristol and a flagship initiative of the "No-Budget" generation of thinkers and cultural players.

Its scope and ambition is already world-class without losing connecion with immediate local social issues, people and economic forces. It offers an unrivalled set of programmes, resources, activities and services making it a vital, exciting and future-facing addition to the cultural life of the south-west and the UK. Furthermore, the Cube's partnerships with a wide range of regional, national and international Micro-Cinemas will establish this network as a leading influence and engine in producing and showcasing new and emerging forms of creativity and cultural revolution.
 

The Cube Microplex provides artists, participants and audiences with a unique platform for producing, understanding, experiencing and simply enjoying film, video and computer based art. The Cube's volunteer run status gives it a special place in the emmerging international community of radical grass roots arts and creativity centers as recently celebrated in the meeting at Labin in Croatia.

And there's more. All of this is integrated with a set of outstanding resources, spaces, programmes and partnerships that will stimulate and encourage debate, understanding and participation in film and computer based art forms.
